Vazquez could miss Champions League final with knee injury

Vazquez could miss Champions League final with knee injury

The promising winger suffered a medial collateral sprain of his left knee against Valencia on Sunday and is therefore a doubt for their last two games of the campaign
Real Madid's Winger Lucaz Vazques  has sustained a sprained knee injury which could potentially rule him out of their attempts to complete a La Liga and Champions League double.
.
Vazquez was withdrawn after playing 75 minutes of Sunday's 3-2 win over Valencia as Madrid stayed one point behind La Liga leaders Barca with a solitary match remaining.

Madrid did not announce the timeframe  on Vazquez's recovery, but revealed he "has been diagnosed with a medial collateral sprain in his left knee".

Madrid travel to Deportivo La Coruna on the final day of the Liga season needing a win, while hoping Barca do not take all three points at Granada, if they are to land their first league crown since 2011/12.
They then face fierce rivals Atletico Madrid, who dropped out of the title race as they lost at Levante over the weekend, in the Champions League final on May 28.
